Destiney S.
Companion Animal 

Destiney grew up in Merrimac, WI on her grandparents’ beef farm. Currently, she resides in Merrimac with her boyfriend and two cats. Destiney’s love for animals of all sizes and breeds led her to UW-Platteville to study Large Animal Veterinary Sciences. Recently, Destiney has taken an interest in dogs with Osteoarthritis and Advanced Joint Problems– this interest led Destiney to apply at Lodi Veterinary Care. She has been working at LVC since December of 2023. In her free time, Destiney enjoys helping her grandparents on their farm, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. Destiney would like to continue her education in Companion Animals with Advanced Joint Care and OsteoArthritis

 

Grace F.
Livestock

Grace grew up on her family’s dairy farm outside of Janesville WI.  She has always had a love for dairy cattle which continued with a degree from Fox Valley Technical College in the Dairy Technician Program in 2020. She currently lives in the Oxford area with her boyfriend, Nick, and dog, Winston. In her free time, she enjoys staying busy by visiting family that still resides in Janesville, baking, and snowmobiling.

Haley is from Poynette, WI and has a goofy gelding named Rock, two dogs, Elsa & Sadie, and a sassy cat, Delilah.  During her free time she enjoys spending time out at the barn with Rock, going on adventures with her dogs, and reading.

Jessie started working at Lodi Vet in 2020 working in boarding and left in 2022 to get some different experience. I came back to Lodi Vet in 2023 because of the strong passion I have for working with animals. I am currently a Veterinary Service Specialist & Veterinary Technician Assistant.  I live on a farm with beef cattle and a bunch of farm cats and one indoor/outdoor kitty named Peaches. I have two Australian Shepherds named Kora & Izzy,  a Border Collie/ Lab named Oakleigh, and a Great Pyrenees/ Lab named Kya. I like to enjoy my free time hiking, spending time with family & being outside.

Katie was born and raised in Madison and joined Lodi Veternary Care in 2020. She attended UW River Falls and has a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. In her free time, Katie loves riding, hiking, swimming, fishing and hanging out with her two cats, Simon and Oppie.

Kayla grew up in and lives in DeForest Wisconsin. Kayla has always had a love for animals, growing up with Dalmatians and Yorkies. Kayla got married to her husband Matthew in December 2021. They share their home with their Dalmatian Daisy, and their Yorkies Violet, & Lily. Her love for animals is what brought her to work here at Lodi Veterinary Care starting in 2023. Her interests include swimming, walking with her husband and dogs, playing games, & hanging out with family and friends.

Krista grew up in the suburbs of south Chicago and moved to Lodi in 2006. Krista has worked at Lodi Veterinary Care since 2008. She lives with her husband, two sons and daughter. They share their home with one dog and two cats. When not at work, Krista enjoys camping, swimming and kayaking.

Maureen lives in Lodi with her husband and children. She has been working at Lodi Veterinary Care since 1997.  She enjoys teaching the Puppy Kindergarten classes offered at LVC.  Her family has two chocolate Labrador Retrievers and a Flat Coated Retriever. She and Grady, her male Lab, are a retired registered therapy team with Pet Partners Inc.  Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, camping, cross country skiing and spending time with family, as well as volunteering with the Lodi Challengers 4-H Club and Columbia County 4-H Dog project.

Meridee is a member of the WDCTA, and joined the LVC team in 2015. She lives in Portage with her husband, Brad, and their cat, Norman. In her free time, she enjoys riding and driving her horses, Jewel and Missy.

Rachel grew up in, and currently lives in, Baraboo, WI.  She is a big animal lover, which is what brought her into the veterinary field.  She has ten year old Poodle mix, Bobo, as well as two cats, Colton and Skye.  She also has an Arabian Quarter Horse cross, Ranger.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family or working with her horse.  Rachel also enjoys making home cooked meals for her family with recipes she can find on Pinterest.

Roxy grew up in Montello, Wisconsin. Roxy has always had a love for animals; she grew up with a Labrador Retriever and a Pug. Her curiosity and compassion for animals continued into a Bachelor’s degree from UW-River Falls in Animal Science with an emphasis in Companion Animal Management. Her love of animals is what brought her to start working here at Lodi Veterinary Care in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys playing darts, baking, snowmobiling, hiking with her dog Willow & spending time with friends and family.

Savannah grew up and currently lives in Sauk City. Her love of animals is what led her to join Lodi Veterinary Care in November of 2023. She has hopes to learn more and further her education in animal science. She has a three-year-old Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler named Loki, an eleven-month-old Welsh Corgi named Winnie, two cats named Cooper and Remy, and two bunnies named Taiga and Pippin.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her pets, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Telo (teh-low) was born and raised on the Island of Guam. At the age of 16 she moved to Wisconsin and started working at Lodi Veterinary Care in 2014. She is grateful to be a part of the LVC family and honored to help families and their pets. Telo and her husband care for and play with many creatures of their own: her Beagle named Burt, two kitties – Eva and Baxter, a bunny named Batty, and a large flock of backyard chickens. She enjoys outdoor adventures, vegetable gardening and canning, playing the flute, Pilates, and simply being home with her family and creatures.

Amanda A.

Amanda grew up on a farm and has always enjoyed working with animals.  Their farm has almost any animal you can think of, including many cats and three dogs.   She also has a special farm cat named Tod.  Amanda knew she wanted a career working with animals and started at Lodi Veterinary Care in boarding and has since moved to being a veterinary technician assistant.  She graduated from the Madison College Veterinary Technician program in 2021.  Amanda enjoys outdoor activities, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Barb currently lives in Lodi with her husband, Wayne, and their energetic labrador retriever, Mya. When not at work, she enjoys running, biking, and hiking the Ice Age Trails with Mya. Barb has been at LVC since 1979.

Carmen currently lives in Sauk with her husband, John, and their black Labrador Retriever, Sophie. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, and maintaining their koi pond. Carmen has been an employee at Lodi Veterinary Care since 1985 and enjoys meeting new clients and patients.

Danielle started at LVC as a technician intern, then Veterinary Technician Assistant/Late Night in 2010, and returned as a CVT in 2013. She loves the variety of patients that visit the clinic each day, and helping to provide them with the best care possible. In her free time, Danielle enjoys hiking, exploring state parks, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Jeremy D.

Jeremy grew up in a small town in Canada and moved to Madison in 2017 with his wife, who is the Principal Harpist of the Madison Symphony Orchestra.  He is in the process of completing his Associate Degree in the Veterinary Technician program at Madison College. Jeremy has a beautiful dog named Laney, who he adopted from the Vet Tech program and loves spending time with her at the dog park. With his spare time,  Jeremy enjoys working out, reading books and woodworking. He would love to have a little woodworking shop one day to make small pieces of furniture.

Kate shares a small farm with her husband and two daughters. They moved from the Chicago area to Wisconsin, hoping to spend more time outside and to be able to have a horse, which became two. Their family loves to ride the horses and play with their dogs, Caper and Marvel. Kate has been with Lodi Veterinary Care since 2004 and loves meeting people and their pets. Her interests include art, reading and trying to turn an old corn field into a garden.

I graduated from Madison College’s Vet Tech Program in 2023 and now live in Baraboo with my retired research beagle Gummy Bear and my Syrian hamster Rico. I adopted both from the Vet Tech program and have a number of pet goats, llamas, and rabbits at my parent’s ranch as well. In my free time I enjoy spending time with all my animals, reading, and getting together with family. I also enjoy learning about animal behavior and nutrition with any spare time I have.

Kennedy grew up in Lodi surrounded by lots of Golden Retrievers! She is currently attending UW Platteville to earn her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and Madison College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. When she is not at work, she likes to go hiking or binge watch her current favorite TV show. She also loves learning about canine behavior in her free time.

Mary graduated from Madison College in 2016 and started as a Certified Veterinary Technician at LVC in July of the same year. Mary shares her home in DeForest with husband and her dogs, Nelson and Quimby.

I live in Baraboo, WI with my boyfriend. We share our home with 2 adopted daughters, Mona the beagle and Scarlet the poodle mix. 3 years ago, I took the leap of faith and began the journey towards my dream job of caring for animals. Lodi Veterinary Care then welcomed me as a technician assistant and intern. I graduated from Madison College, passed the VTNE and State exams, and moved to the role of CVT! The journey has been a wild ride, but nothing short of amazing. I am excited to continue learning and caring for the patients that come through LVC!

Peyton grew up in Poynette, WI, as the youngest of three children. Growing up, she always had a passion for animals and knew caring for them was in her future. Starting at age 16, Peyton jump-started her career working as a veterinary assistant at the Poynette Veterinary Service for over 6 years until graduating from Madison College in 2015, with her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She became certified shortly after, joining the Lodi team in 2016. She favors assisting with advanced reproduction in the livestock division. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, fishing, photography, horseback riding, and volunteering at a Therapeutic Riding center. She has two cats, Emmy and Pickle, and a holstein heifer, Blu, that she plans on showing.

Abbie grew up in Green Bay, WI and realized at a very young age that she loved working with animals. She currently goes to school at UW-Madison studying Animal Science and has plans of applying to veterinary school with an interest in small animal medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, snowboarding in the winter and hanging out with her cat Oli.

Allie lives outside of Waunakee, WI with her dog, Bella, and two cats, Blue and George. She started working at the clinic when she was 14 years old, cleaning and stocking trucks. Over the past several years, she has taken on many different responsibilities in the Equine and Livestock areas. In 2017, she graduated with a Small Businesses Degree from Madison College. At LVC, Allie works in the Milk Culture Lab, runs the route delivery van, and helps our livestock clients with their on-farm inventory management. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at the lake, boating, snowmobiling, and volunteering for the Waunakee FFA Alumni and Waunakee Winter Wanderers Snowmobile Club.

Brian is from Milton, WI and has lived in Lodi since 1990. He and his wife, Jody, have three sons – Bradley, Keith and Matthew. Brian has worked with animals all his life and enjoys hunting and being outdoors.

Caitlin lives in Portage, WI, and started working at LVC as a veterinary technician assistant. She will be attending UW-Platteville to study animal science with a pre-veterinary emphasis. She has one dog – a rescued pug and terrier mix named Rory. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, watching the Packers and walking Rory.

Delaney was born in Minneapolis, MN. She moved to Northern WI in 2013, and in 2020 moved to Portage with her boyfriend Brandon, and their snake Malakai. She knew from a young age that she had a connection with animals and wanted to work with them. She is currently a student at MATC working on earning her Veterinary Technician Certification. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, camping, and during these cold winter months, snowboarding.

Jane lives in Lodi with her husband and two Bengal cats, Benson and Mika. She has been a part of the Lodi Veterinary Care team for over 20 years. Her favorite part about her job is being able to work with the animals and the staff. In her free time, she enjoys powerlifting. Jane has broken 15 world records in powerlifting and will be inducted into the hall of fame in 2017. When she isn’t at work or powerlifting, Jane enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren.

Merilyn lives in Prairie Du Sac with his wife. He has been working with Lodi Veterinary Care, since 2004, in the livestock division. In addition to being an assistant, he also does maintenance work for the clinic. Merilyn is responsible for feeding and care of the donor animals. In his free time he enjoys fishing.

Molly grew up in Holmen, Wisconsin, and recently graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Genetics and Genomics. Much of her time at UW was devoted to research in microbiology and agronomy. Her two cats, Nala and Saphira, live back at home with her family. In her free time, Molly enjoys mountain biking, running, snowboarding, and log-rolling.

Stephanie grew up in the Lodi/Sauk area. She started working at LVC as a boarding team member in 2013 and is currently a veterinary technician assistant. She currently attends UW-Plateville studying pre-veterinary medicine. Stephanie has two dogs – a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a German Wirehaired Pointer. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, going to movies and spending time with family and friends.

After graduating from UW-Stevens Point, Camille knew she wanted to raise her family in the same community she grew up in. Camille and her husband, Kevin, their two sons, Kyle and Luke, share their household with their Labrador Retriever, Ada, and one crazy cat, Stella. They fill all of their free time with family visits, fishing, hunting, and trips to the cabin or the Upper Peninsula for vacation. Camille has been with LVC since 1997 and enjoys the fact that every day is different.  She strives to inspire the LVC team to reach their fullest potential.

Scott is from Lodi and has worked as LVC’s inventory manager since 2008. He has two children and enjoys playing sports, especially softball.

Shelly grew up in Dousman, WI and spent summers learning to ride horses and milk cows on her Grandparents’ farm. She has worked at Lodi Veterinary Care as the Livestock and Equine manager since 2012. She lives on a small hobby farm with her dog, Opa, as well as a donkey, horses, goats, cats, and chickens. She enjoys outdoor activities, competitive sports, and woodworking.

Abby graduated from UW-Madison with a film and art degree in 2012. After a bit of traveling and living abroad in South Korea for a year, she is very happy to call Wisconsin home again. In her free time, Abby enjoys hiking, eating take-out, and watching food competition shows. She has two Frenchtons named Eleanor and Yoshi who are often found hanging out with their dog cousins Rona and Olive in Verona. Abby has been with LVC since 2019.

Kate was in 4-H for four years showing dogs and rabbits. She has had dogs all her life and currently is dog mom to Yellow Lab Jazzy and two adorable Cockapoos names Tilly and Paisley. She also has Tuxedo cat named Mindy. Free time is spent fishing, canoeing, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Kate also loves spending time with her family, including husband Dan, and friends.
