Companion Livestock Services

Lodi Veterinary Care provides routine preventive health care, as well as, surgical and medical treatment for sheep, goats, pigs, llamas, alpacas, and other livestock species. These services can be done on-farm, as well as, in-clinic.

  • Laboratory services: complete blood count (CBC), chemistry panel, and more
  • Intestinal parasite analysis through fecal sample screening
  • Johne’s, Caprine Arthritis and Encephalitis (CAE) and Caseous Lymphadenitis (CLA) testing via outside referral laboratories
  • Necropsy (post-mortem) examination and tissue analysis

Preventive Care

  • Development of vaccination programs and vaccination administration
  • Internal and external parasite management and treatment
  • General nutritional recommendations and feed testing
  • Hoof care
  • Training for common management procedures

Reproductive Services

  • Male breeding soundness exams
  • Ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis
  • Dystocia (difficult birth) assistance

Wellness Exams & Treatment
