Companion Animal Veterinary Service Specialist & Technician Assistant (VTA)

We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Service Specialist/Technician Assistant to join our Companion Animal care team. Candidates must have great communication skills and be focused on customer service. Knowledge of veterinary medicine would be helpful, but is not required. Candidate must be dependable, prompt, able to multitask, and handle a fast pace environment. Duties include but are not limited to: telephone communications, client interaction and education, collecting payments, computerized scheduling and data entry. Animal restraint, assisting CVT’s and veterinarians, cleaning, and monitoring hospitalized patients. Hours will include some evenings and a weekend rotation. Companion Animal Boarding & Daycare Attendant
Do dogs make you laugh? Do you like to be active? Lodi Veterinary Care is looking for a motivated person to join our team at The Playground. The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be team oriented, and love dogs and cats. This part time (with full time potential) position requires availability early mornings and some evenings throughout the week, as well as, a weekend rotation. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care for our boarding and daycare kiddos and their pet parents too! We focus on training and socialization and offer daycare or overnight boarding to all ages. We pride ourselves on providing great experiences in a safe environment.
Candidates must be active and enjoy all types of weather. Candidates must be able to handle walking, standing, bending, and cleaning throughout an entire shift. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring playgroups, walking dogs, cleaning, feeding and medicating appropriately, communicating with clients, accurate record keeping, socializing with cats, and many other tasks. Candidates need to be able to multitask and be comfortable with computerized record keeping.
