Do dogs make you laugh? Do you like to be active? Lodi Veterinary Care is looking for a motivated person to join our team at The Playground. The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be team oriented, and love dogs and cats. This part time position requires exceptional care for our boarding and daycare kiddos and their pet parents too! We focus on training and socialization and offer daycare or overnight boarding to all ages. We pride ourselves on providing great experiences in a safe environment. Candidates must be active and enjoy all types of weather. The successful candidate must be able to handle walking, standing, bending, and cleaning throughout an entire shift. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring playgroups, walking dogs, cleaning, feeding and medicating appropriately, communicating with clients, accurate record keeping, socializing with cats, and many other tasks. Candidates need to be able to multitask and be comfortable with computerized record keeping. Companion Animal Veterinary Service Specialist

Candidates must have great communication skills, be focused on customer service, and enjoy a fast paced environment. Knowledge of veterinary medicine would be helpful, but not required. Our newly remodeled and expanded facility is located just 20 minutes North of Madison and we are nestled in the beautiful Lake Wisconsin valley. Our team consists of 21 doctors, and we are growing! We take pride in exceptional customer service, advanced veterinary care, and our caring and dedicated team. nCandidates must be dependable, prompt, and able to multi-task. Duties include but are not limited to: telephone communications, client interaction and education, collecting payments, computerized scheduling, data entry, assisting with daily planning and communications with CVT’s and DVM’s, and light cleaning. Candidates must be able to lift 40# to assist clients with food orders and be able to stand for extended periods of time. Hours will include evenings and a weekend rotation.
