Animal Behavior Counseling & Obedience Classes

Animal Behavior Counseling  -  The Lodi Veterinary Hospital has professional staff available by appointment for behavior counseling. During this appointment an accurate history can be taken and a specific program can be implemented. The Lodi Veterinary Hospital can also make referrals to behavioral specialists when needed.

Puppy Kindergarten Classes are designed to help puppy owners teach their puppies basic commands, and to socialize the puppy to other dogs, children, and the veterinary hospital. We use treats and fun to positively reinforce learning. Puppies from eight weeks to four months of age are accepted into Puppy Kindergarten. Adult Dog Obedience Classes are for dogs six months old or older and are designed to teach your dog to be controlled at home and in public. A combination of rewards, corrections, and household rules will be used to train your dog. These classes are offered in the spring and the fall on a limited basis.
