Amber Mayne, DVM

Dr. Amber Mayne started her veterinary career as a certified veterinary technician. Her experiences as a technician supported her pursuit to become a veterinarian, so she went on to follow her dream. Dr. Mayne attended the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011.

She is an animal lover and currently has four small dogs, four cats, and one bird. All of Dr. Mayne's pets are rescued from less fortunate lives. Her most memorable experience so far in her career has been volunteering her time and knowledge in a hoarding situation. Over 300 dogs were confiscated; it was an overwhelming and rewarding adventure.

In her spare time Dr. Mayne enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, running, and spending quality time with her 4-legged kids.

Dr. Mayne joined the LVH team as a doctor in 2011.
